About Me

Welcome to the world of DJ Dutch. Music is my passion, and I enjoy sharing my passion with the people! I've been DJing for 10+ years now, and have done a wide variety of parties and events.

I started off working for a DJ company that specialized in weddings. While working there, I successfully hosted over 100 wedding ceremonies and receptions. Having to coordinate with so many individuals, and making formal announcements under the pressure of my clients' MOST important day, I feel as if I have the experience and professionalism to tackle any type of event.

Through the years, I've seen a little bit of everything to say the least. From a formal masked ball for government officials, to a gay male wedding with a drag performer dressed as Patti Labelle at the reception! Trust me no event is too large, too small, or too unconventional. Just know that I will always be professional and discreet with your event.

Music is truly my joy. There are other things I could be doing. I have a B.S. in Business Administration from the illustrious Florida A&M University School of Business. I also have a Master's in Marketing from Georgia State. But this is what I love doing... making people enjoy themselves through a strategic blend of music and interaction.

I am married with two kids and thank God everyday for my loving family. My wife Kenya is a teacher and also the owner of a budding candle company, Kenya's Kandle Kreations. I guarantee you've NEVER seen candles like these! I have a 7 year old son, Jelani, and a 10 year old daughter, Niara. My family is my motivation for everything that I do.
